Çatalca District Directorate of National Education organized an introductory meeting for Physical Education Teachers who are working in different schools (39 schools) in Çatalca District. District Director Tayfun Özyolcu was the first key speaker to mention about the importance of strengtening girls/womens' participation in sports. He highlighted the innovative strategies to apply in P.E. Lessons to create balance in gender issues. He discussed the possible ways to hinder violence/intolerance towards girls at lessons. He mentioned that P.E. Teachers have vital position to  create peacefull environements between girls and boys. Afterwards Project Coordinator Eda Güzelçiçek  explained what is Erasmus +Sport Collaborations and EWA Project in general with EU partners, Project milestones, objectives, deliverables and Schedule. Second part, EWA Civid Debate Platform and how to sign up is explained. In evaluation and Q&A part, a sound ground for EWA Project activities discusion has been done. P.E. teachers presented their views and willingness to cooperate in activies.
